Questions schools ask us
Do teachers need to be good with computers?
No. If a teacher can use WhatsApp, they can use Skolzen. Most daily tasks take one or two taps on a phone, and we train every staff member during onboarding.
Can we bring our data from Excel or another ERP?
Yes. Share your current files and our team imports students, staff, classes, fee structures and past results for you.
Does it work for CBSE, ICSE and State Board schools?
Yes. Grading schemes and report card formats are set per board, and different branches can follow different boards.
Will parents need to install another app?
Parents install one app, Skolzen Parent, which replaces scattered WhatsApp groups and paper circulars. Urgent alerts can also go out by SMS.
Are there any hidden costs?
No. You pay the plan price per enrolled student plus GST. Onboarding is free during our launch. SMS, WhatsApp and payment-gateway charges are passed on at the provider's cost, with no markup.
Can we host Skolzen on our own servers?
Yes. Skolzen is available as an on-premise installation for schools and groups that need data to stay on their own servers. Contact us for a quote.
